The Virtual Aviation Experience started in March, 2009. VAE is the idea of the future for the flight simulator platform. We are not just a virtual airline, but a full-on virtual experience with over 150 active members; we strive to be professional and enjoyable at the same time in our three fields, aviation, Air Traffic Control, and ground operations We welcome all pilots, ATC's, or even people who want to drive around on the ramp in a push-back truck to enjoy the experience of participating in a realistic environment with professionals and people who love what they do. We offer a variety of different things at VAE including a structured and advanced Air Traffic Control/Flight Training program both built to get you going on the right path! We also offer different events at VAE ranging from small GA Fly-Ins to massive ATC events with multiple open control towers.

Robert is in charge of admitting new members in to VAE and helping out current members get established with VAE. Robert is most likely the first person you will talk to when you join VAE's TeamSpeak He is currently serving as the acting lead administrator while Evan is away.

Robert is 19 years old, he is an Eagle Scout, and hopes to become a pilot for Southwest Airlines. Robert has been with VAE since day one and worked his way up the ranks from there. He started out working with with the information technology department and founded the VAE live support system, In May of 2009 he was asked to work as interim manager while the lead administrator was away. He held the interim manager position for 7 months then transferred to Member Services where he has been ever since, Robert enjoys working with all the members and getting to know them over the course of their stay at VAE.

Matt oversees the planning and execution of weekly and large-scale events at VAE. He comes up with new and exciting ideas to keep everybody interested. Feel free to send matt any new events you may have.

Matt has been with VAE since the beginning. It is where he gets on and talks about aviation without boring anyone and loves it. Matt has known Robert and Evan for the past 3 years. He is happy to call them his friends.. Matt has been patiently waiting for the events director position to open up, unfortunately he could not be the first one to fill it because he was away at basic training for the US Army. Matt’s current goal in life is to fly a Piper Super Cub for the Montana Department of Fish and Game. Matt has an unconditional love for tail dragger aircraft. Matt has many new and exciting ideas for events here at VAE. So many that at one event per month they will last for two years. If you have any event ideas for Matt just email him with the details and he will try to make your ideas a reality. |

Chris is in charge of the Air Traffic control division at VAE he makes sure everybody is being trained in a standardized manner in order to ensure all of the VAE air traffic controllers are on the same level of knowledge. |
